Monster Hunter Wilds Surpasses 10 Million Sales in First Month

Capcom has announced that its latest action RPG, Monster Hunter Wilds, has sold over 10 million units worldwide since its release on February 28, 2025.

A Major Success for the Monster Hunter Franchise

The newest installment in the Monster Hunter series has captivated players with its dynamic open world, where harsh wilderness shifts into lush, life-filled environments. Powered by Capcom’s RE ENGINE, the game delivers stunning visuals and features crossplay support, allowing players to hunt together across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

The game’s Focus Mode mechanic, seamless transitions between settlements and ecosystems, and expanded multiplayer features have contributed to its massive popularity. The result is one of Capcom’s fastest-selling titles, setting a first-month sales record of over 10 million units.
