New Bournemouth Co-owner Michael B Jordan is Spotted Watching Cherries Take on Chelsea at Stamford Bridge

Michael B Jordan has been spotted watching Bournemouth take on Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

As reported by Daily Mail, the Hollywood star is part of the consortium that took over Bournemouth – headed up by American businessman Bill Foley.

The game at Stamford Bridge is the Cherries’ first Premier League game since the takeover, as the club return to domestic duty following the completion of the World Cup.

Interest in the Black Panther star’s role at the club was high with many wondering how Jordan would fit in.

In a statement released by Bournemouth, the club said that the Creed actor would ‘work closely with Bill [Foley] in areas including global marketing and internationalisation of the club.’

Jordan making an appearance at Stamford Bridge could be a hint that the actor is prepared to take a hands-on-approach with his co-ownership of the Cherries.

The 35-year-old also recently released pictures donning the red and black of Bournemouth on Twitter with the caption ‘Honored. See you on the pitch.’

It was the first time Jordan was seen in a Cherries kit and, based on his showing at Stamford Bridge, it won’t be the last.

Bournemouth currently find themselves flirting with relegation from the Premier League and fans will be hoping the new owners give the side a much-needed boost.
