Nicki Minaj Doubles Down on ‘Shooter’ Claims With Studio Goons Flex

Nicki Minaj, the iconic New York rapper, has made it abundantly clear that she has control over her narrative, insisting that claims about her are only valid when she approves them personally.

In response to recent criticism from DJ Vlad, Nicki Minaj went live on Instagram on Friday (September 22) to assert her authority and showcase her support network, seemingly addressing DJ Vlad’s comments in the context of her feud with Cardi B and Offset.

During the Instagram live session, Nicki repeatedly emphasized, “It’s a difference between making calls and calling the shots.” She delivered this message into a microphone, underscoring her dominance in the situation. Throughout the stream, she panned her phone’s camera around the room to reveal the substantial backup she had at her disposal.

A day before Nicki’s Instagram Live session, DJ Vlad took to Twitter to criticize the 40-year-old rapper regarding recent drama involving her husband, Kenneth Petty. DJ Vlad particularly called out a snippet from one of Nicki’s songs in which she appears to imply that she has a group of individuals willing to carry out her commands, stating, “I can’t be playin’ with n-ggas, I married a G/ I got some n-ggas that do what I say, if I tell ’em to shoot, they pull up on the three.”

In his Twitter thread, DJ Vlad referenced Nicki Minaj’s husband being on house arrest for threatening Offset and highlighted past incidents where Nicki had made statements involving violence or threats.

He concluded his tweets with a strong message, cautioning men to be cautious of women who use them as “crash dummies” in confrontations they initiate themselves.

Nicki Minaj’s Instagram Live response served as her direct reply to these criticisms, reinforcing her position and asserting her control over the narrative surrounding her.
