Nollywood Star Biola Bayo Confirms Separation from Husband
Popular Nollywood actress Biola Bayo has announced that she is no longer with her husband, Oluseyi, marking the end of their three-year marriage.
The actress shared the news with fans on Tuesday in an emotional Instagram post commemorating her birthday. In the message, she revealed that the couple has been separated since April 2024, citing irreconcilable differences.
Addressing her followers, Biola wrote, “I’m sincerely sorry. I wished it worked, but it’s better to stay alive to tell the story. Please keep us in your prayers.”
She also opened up about the emotional toll the situation has taken on her, admitting that despite maintaining a cheerful front in public, she has battled private pain for more than a year.
“While I go about making other people happy in the day, my pillow is drenched with my own tears almost every night for the past 14 months. But I gain strength from Christ who loves me eternally and gave Himself for me,” she added.
Biola Bayo and Oluseyi tied the knot in April 2021. This marks her second publicised separation – her earlier marriage to a UK-based man, Ola, ended in 2014.
