Nigerian Afrobeats sensation Omah Lay has given fans a taste of his upcoming single, “Moving,” sparking excitement across social media. The Port Harcourt-born artist, whose full name is Stanley Omah Didia, shared a brief clip of the track, hinting at another potential hit.
Omah Lay’s last official release, “Holy Ghost,” dropped in December 2023, following his debut album Boy Alone, which featured collaborations with big names like Justin Bieber and Tay Iwar. While the new single was initially slated for release on August 23, 2024, it’s now set to arrive earlier, at midnight on Thursday, August 22, 2024.
In a video posted on his social media today, Wednesday, August 19, 2024, Omah Lay is seen cruising in a convertible while previewing the up-tempo Afro-fusion track, which blends popular log drum beats with bass guitar riffs. Fans are already buzzing with anticipation, with many expecting “Moving” to become a new favorite.
Omah Lay captioned the teaser with, “I’ve been Moving!! Midnight 🕛,” adding to the excitement for the track’s release, which could be part of his upcoming album Clarity of Mind.
