Pharrell Williams and Anna Wintour to Host Star-Studded Paris Olympic Games Kick-Off Party

Pharrell Williams has announced an extravagant pre-Olympic celebration in Paris, set to be co-hosted by the iconic Anna Wintour. The event, taking place on July 25 at the Fondation Louis Vuitton, will bring together some of the world’s biggest stars on the eve of the Olympic Games Opening Ceremony.

According to AllHipHop, the star-studded party will feature a guest list including Charlize Theron, Serena Williams, Spanish singer Rosalia, and French actor Omar Sy, renowned for his role in the Netflix series Lupin.

Pharrell and Wintour will share hosting duties with LVMH Chairman Bernard Arnault and Comcast NBC Universal Chairman Brian Roberts. The Grammy Award-winning producer expressed his excitement, saying, “It’s an honor for me to co-host this very special event with Anna, Mr. Arnault, and Brian the night before the momentous Opening Ceremony. The Olympics are a celebration of diversity, humanity, and creativity – all of which bring us closer together as one human race.”

The evening will feature more than just a typical party atmosphere. Guests will enjoy Moët Hennessy-curated signature cocktails and gourmet bites prepared by Michelin Star chef Jean Imbert. The event will also offer Olympic-inspired games, including archery, basketball, and table tennis, allowing attendees to embrace the competitive spirit.

Pharrell, who is Louis Vuitton’s men’s creative director, has recently showcased his commitment to the Olympic spirit in his work. His menswear show at Paris Fashion Week featured a global theme, drawing from international cultural elements. Louis Vuitton’s involvement with the Summer Olympics extends to designing the uniforms for volunteers who will present medals to the winning athletes, with the medals being displayed on special Louis Vuitton trays.

In addition to his fashion endeavors, Pharrell recently unveiled his Tiffany Titan jewelry collection with Tiffany & Co. The collection includes necklaces, earrings, bracelets, and rings made with diamonds in 18-karat yellow gold or titanium.

Pharrell’s musical career remains vibrant, with Pusha T and No Malice confirming a new Clipse project produced entirely by Pharrell. In an interview with Vulture, Pusha T highlighted the meticulous nature of their collaboration, emphasizing the production’s cinematic quality and attention to detail.

The pre-Olympic bash is shaping up to be an unforgettable night, celebrating the unity and beauty of sport while setting the stage for the global spectacle that is the Olympic Games.
