Sandra Benede Denies Being Mother of Naira Marley’s Twin Daughters
Social media personality Sandra Benede has publicly refuted claims that she is the mother of Naira Marley’s twin daughters, Aishat and Simiat.
The clarification comes after the singer celebrated the twins’ 10th birthday on April 21, prompting renewed speculation about the identity of their mother. During a recent TikTok live session with nightlife promoter Peller, Benede had initially played along with suggestions that she was Marley’s baby mama – a statement that quickly sparked online chatter.
However, in a follow-up video posted to her social media, Benede reversed her earlier remarks, stating that she was only responding in jest to Peller’s playful comments.
“Una dey take Peller’s words serious?” she said in the video. “He says the craziest things, and I have to play along. Why would I want to hide my kids? I’m not their mother. Those beautiful kids belong to Naira.”
She added, “I have never given birth. I would love to have twins someday, but I haven’t yet.”
Back in 2022, Benede and Naira Marley had stirred dating rumours when she shared an intimate birthday message to the artist, along with a video of the two in bed. In the post, she wrote, “Happy birthday to mines. Wishing you many more years of greatness. Minesbaby. We play too much.”
While fans once speculated about a romantic link between the two, Benede’s latest comments appear to put the rumours about motherhood to rest.
