Sexyy Red Stops Show to Confront Fan for ‘Looking Crazy’ at Her

Rapper Sexyy Red made headlines during her recent performance in Norfolk, Virginia, where she paused her show to address a fan in the front row who seemed displeased. The incident occurred while she was in the midst of performing her hit single “Shake Yo Dreads.”

Sexyy Red didn’t hesitate to call out the fan, asking her if there was a problem. She said, “You got a problem? You okay in the brown braids? You cool? I thought you ain’t fuck with a bitch for real — I seen you looking crazy.”

While the fan’s response isn’t clear from the available footage, it seems the woman was in good spirits, as she could be seen laughing at Sexyy’s comments. After ensuring there was no lingering issue, Sexyy Red apologized to the rest of the audience for the brief interruption and continued the show.

Following the concert, Sexyy Red took to social media to thank the Norfolk audience. Despite being pregnant with her second child, her Hood Hottest Princess Tour will carry on with upcoming shows in Detroit, Fort Wayne, Cincinnati, Winston Salem, and her hometown of St. Louis.

In a different light, NBA star Steph Curry recently reacted to Sexyy Red mentioning him in her track “SkeeYee.” Curry expressed his amusement, saying he had never seen her at a basketball game but appreciated the shoutout. The lyrics reference Curry with the line, “My sister in the backseat with a .30, n-ggas tryna shoot they shot, Stephen Curry.”

The NBA superstar, known as the “Baby Face Assassin,” has garnered admiration from the hip-hop community throughout his dominant career, with numerous references to him in songs. Curry shared in an interview that he and a teammate once tried to count how many times his name had been mentioned in songs, finding it to be around 106 mentions, which he found astonishing.
