Singer BNXN Slams Clubs Selling ‘Fake Drinks,’ Says, ‘You’re Killing Us’

In a stern warning, popular Nigerian singer Daniel Benson, widely known as BNXN, has called out clubs selling what he deems as “fake” drinks, stating that such establishments are putting the lives of their customers at risk.

The ‘Finesse’ crooner expressed his frustration after a recent incident in a Lagos club where he paid for a drink, only to receive what he alleges was a counterfeit beverage.

Taking to his X handle on Sunday, BNXN aired his concerns, saying, “Stop selling us fake drinks after spending so much money on the overpriced drinks. You’re killing us. Respect my health, Respect my money. Give me what I pay for. If you don’t have it, don’t bring a fake one!”

The artist issued a direct warning to the next club or lounge that sells what he perceives as counterfeit drinks to him. He vowed to take action by seizing the microphone from the hypeman during his performance to address the issue publicly.

BNXN’s statement sheds light on a concerning trend where patrons at clubs may unknowingly be served substandard or adulterated beverages. His public callout emphasizes the need for establishments to uphold quality and safety standards to ensure the well-being of their customers.
