October London and Tyrese

Snoop Dogg Signee October London Recalls Almost Burning Down Tyrese’s House

Rising artist October London, signed to Snoop Dogg’s Death Row Records, recently shared a wild story about how a listening session for his new single with Tyrese almost ended in disaster. While previewing their track, “Bedroom Bully,” at Tyrese’s Atlanta mansion, the night took an unexpected turn when a guest’s excitement led to an accidental fire.

During an appearance on The Breakfast Club on Wednesday (October 9), October London recounted the near-miss involving a hookah. As the artist described, a friend became so energized by the song that he accidentally knocked over the hookah, causing a small fire to break out.

“My boy Jamie was feeling the music and got really hyped,” London said. “He jumped up and knocked over the hookah, but no one noticed at first. Suddenly, one of the security guys started moving quickly, patting the floor. I thought he was dancing, but then I saw the rug was on fire!”

Fortunately, the fire was extinguished before any serious damage occurred, and Tyrese’s home remained intact.

October London, who first signed with Snoop in 2016 during a collaboration between Snoop and producer Jazze Pha, has since moved to Death Row Records following Snoop’s acquisition of the legendary label. London has made a name for himself with notable collaborations, including creating the theme song for Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party on VH1. His roster now includes several high-profile names, and he recently joined Death Row’s growing list of talent, which features acts like D Smoke and Jane Handcock, alongside veterans like Tha Dogg Pound and Snoop Dogg himself.

In addition to his work with Tyrese, October London has garnered praise from industry legends. Busta Rhymes, in an interview last November, described London as one of his dream collaborators, comparing him to Marvin Gaye. London responded enthusiastically on Instagram, expressing excitement about the possibility of working together.

October London’s latest feature can be heard on the NxWorries album Why Lawd? alongside Anderson .Paak and Knxwledge.
