Tyga and Blac Chyna Reach Custody Agreement for Son King Cairo After Lengthy Dispute

In a resolution to their ongoing public custody battle, Tyga (Michael Ray Stevenson) and Angela White, formerly known as Blac Chyna, have reportedly come to a settlement concerning the custody of their 11-year-old son, King Cairo.

According to TMZ’s report on Friday (December 8), the former couple has reached an “amicable arrangement” regarding the custody of their son after months of public disputes. Despite Tyga not being obligated to pay child support, the parents have agreed to share joint legal and physical custody of King Cairo.

Under the new agreement, both Tyga and Blac Chyna will have an equal say in their son’s health, education, and general welfare. The custody arrangement involves Tyga taking care of Cairo from Tuesday to Thursday, while Blac Chyna will have custody for the remainder of the week.

A significant aspect of the agreement is the stipulation that neither parent is allowed to speak negatively about the other in the presence of their child. The court has mandated them to enrol in a program that monitors their joint parenting decisions.

The custody battle between Tyga and Blac Chyna has been a drawn-out public affair, with the reality star expressing on The Viall Files in late October that a resolution could have been achieved through conversation rather than court proceedings.

Blac Chyna revealed, “You [Tyga] have obviously more money than me. Why can’t we just settle this stuff outside of court, like [by] talking to you? He didn’t wanna do that, so now I have to go to court. We just both don’t need this. … The whole world’s watching, and it’s like, ‘We could’ve just had a conversation, man.'”

Tyga had previously filed documents seeking to grant Blac Chyna “reasonable right of parenting time (visitation) to the party without physical custody” instead of joint custody. The rapper also requested written permission for travel outside California, responding to Blac Chyna’s petition for joint custody filed earlier that month.

The recent agreement signals an end to the public dispute, providing a more private and amicable resolution for the sake of their son.
