Vibrate Only Icon is Back in Android 13

With the launch of Android 13, Google has relaunched its Vibration Mode icon despite removing the vibrate mode icon from the status bar a while back for unknown reasons

Based o the feedback received, the update appears to go down well in the community as it is positive that the permanent display of the small icon is an option.

Users who don’t want that can leave the option switched off. If you want it to be displayed, toggle the switch in the settings. Can be found on Google Pixel from Android 13 in the system settings under “Sound & Vibration” at the bottom.

The option was actually back with Android 12.1. Here, the option comes back only if Android 13 is installed. The update rollout of the new Android version started at the time of writing.

Before Android 13, the symbol still existed. But it was no longer visible all the time, only when you opened the notification bar.
