Wiz Khalifa Bringing Hip Hop Flavour to Stagecoach Country Music Festival
Wiz Khalifa is set to add a unique twist to the 2024 Stagecoach Country Music Festival by headlining the “Late Night in Palomino” event on Sunday night. The festival, known for its country music lineup, will take place from April 26-28, 2024, in Indio, California.
While Wiz Khalifa’s style doesn’t fit the typical country mould, sources close to the Taylor Gang rapper have confirmed his enthusiasm for the opportunity. Despite the genre contrast, Wiz is looking forward to bringing his “amazing show full of hits” and stage presence to the festival.
Joining Wiz Khalifa on the lineup are performers such as Jelly Roll and Post Malone. Tickets for the festival will go on sale next Friday, September 15, at 11 am PT.
This announcement follows Wiz Khalifa’s recent appearance at country music star Morgan Wallen’s concert in Pittsburgh. During the sold-out two-night tour in his hometown on August 31, Khalifa performed his well-known hit “Black and Yellow” and extended a warm Pittsburgh welcome to Wallen by giving him a Terrible Towel, a symbol associated with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Wiz Khalifa is not the only rapper to show support for Morgan Wallen. In May, it was revealed that Wallen and Lil Durk had developed a close friendship, even considering each other “family.” The two rappers went on a fishing trip together, sharing their adventures on social media while emphasizing their strong bond.
