Nigerian actor and activist Yomi Fabiyi has sparked discussions on social media with his recent comments about parenting and emotional healing.
In a viral Instagram post, Fabiyi claimed that “a child’s first enemy is an unhealed parent.” He emphasized that some parents, whether knowingly or not, act as obstacles to their children’s well-being by engaging in lies, blackmail, and manipulation for personal gain.
“Some parents are enemies of their children. They engage in terrible lies, blackmail, and dirty wickedness in their favour at the expense of their children,” he wrote, urging young people to be cautious of such behaviour.
