Actress Dakore Egbuson-Akande Denies Alleged Affair with Senate President Akpabio
Nigerian Star Refutes Claims Linking Her to Senate President in Viral Report
Nigerian actress Dakore Egbuson-Akande has vehemently denied allegations of an affair with Senate President Godswill Akpabio. The actress responded to a viral report naming her among other female celebrities purportedly involved with Akpabio.
Taking to Instagram on Monday, Dakore expressed her shock and disappointment over the accusations, clarifying that she has never met the Senate President.
“I woke up to numerous text messages and calls this morning, informing me of a vicious and unfounded rumour. I am deeply disappointed, shocked, and appalled by this lie from the pit of hell,” she wrote. “I want to categorically state that I have never met the Senate President in my life.”
She further emphasized her commitment to her family and her career, stating, “I have never had any interaction with him, let alone being his side chick. I am happily married with two beautiful children. For a jobless, malicious blogger to include my name among women allegedly involved with this man is completely baseless and wicked.”
Dakore also made it clear that she is prepared to take legal action to defend her reputation. “I am ready for any legal action because, at this point, you have messed with the wrong person. I keep to myself, mind my business, and focus on my work. To tarnish my hard-earned name and image for clicks is unacceptable.”
In a bold challenge to her accusers, she added, “Anyone who can provide video or audio evidence of me being with this man, I will give you N5 million right now.”
The actress’s public denial aims to set the record straight and protect her reputation amidst these damaging allegations.
