Chris Brown Sued for $50 Million Over Alleged Backstage Assault

American R&B artist Chris Brown, alongside his associate Sinko Ceej, rapper Yella Beezy, and the corporation Live Nation, has been named in a $50 million lawsuit following a series of alleged assaults that took place backstage during Brown’s 11:11 tour stop in Fort Worth, Texas.

According to TMZ, the lawsuit was filed by Larry Parker, Joseph Lewis, Charles Bush, and Da Marcus Powell, who allege that they were assaulted backstage on July 20. The plaintiffs claim they were invited backstage with a group of approximately 40 women for a post-concert gathering, but the evening took a violent turn.

Bush asserts that when he approached Brown to congratulate him on his performance, he was reminded of a past conflict, prompting Brown to order his men to attack. Bush alleges he was surrounded and beaten by 7-10 of Brown’s associates, with one individual, identified as Hood Boss, throwing a chair at his head.

Parker claims that Brown directed Yella Beezy and his crew to “f*** up” Parker, who was chased into a dead-end staircase and assaulted for over 10 minutes. He alleges that Brown’s companions repeatedly punched and kicked him, causing significant injuries.

The plaintiffs report sustaining severe injuries that required medical treatment, with at least one still hospitalized, according to their attorney Tony Buzbee. In addition to seeking $50 million in damages, the plaintiffs have requested restraining orders against Brown, Beezy, and Sinko Ceej.

Chris Brown and his team have not yet responded to the allegations. Brown has faced legal troubles in the past, most notably pleading guilty to assaulting his ex-girlfriend Rihanna in a highly publicized criminal case.
