Portuguese manager, Jose Mourinho has become the first ever manager to win European trophies with four different clubs after leading Roma to Europa Conference League glory against Feyenoord.
It should be recalled that Mourinho won the Champions League with Porto and Inter Milan, as well as the Europa League with Manchester United in 2017.
He was already the first to reach European finals with four different clubs, and Nicolo Zaniolo’s first-half goal gave him a golden opportunity to write his name into the sands of European football history.
The game was far from straightforward given that Feyenoord gave a good account of themselves despite going behind with an early goal from Mourinho’s Roma.
They came under intense pressure in the second half with Feyenoord pushing for an equalizer but in the end, they got the game done.
