Bruno Mars to be First-Ever Performer in New Los Angeles Arena

Grammy-winning artist Bruno Mars is set to make history as the first-ever performer at the IntuitDome, a new arena located in Los Angeles that will serve as the home of the Clippers.

Announced via a press release, Mars will end his six-year performing hiatus in L.A. with back-to-back dates on August 15th and August 16th at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, CA. Tickets for these highly anticipated shows will be available for purchase starting on April 11.

Gillian Zucker, CEO of Halo Sports and Entertainment, expressed excitement about Mars’ performance, stating, “We are thrilled Bruno Mars will open Intuit Dome. Bruno, who has a strong connection to Inglewood, will undoubtedly deliver an iconic performance that is worthy of this moment, and will leave a lasting impression on everyone who attends these two shows.”

Reflecting on his ties to Inglewood, Mars shared in a video, “I moved to Inglewood, California when I was eighteen years old, in hopes one day I could write a song. A song that would allow me to perform all over the world. Opening up this arena is a full-circle moment, and I can’t wait to celebrate.”

This announcement comes after Mars celebrated the grand opening of his Las Vegas lounge, The Pinky Ring, during Super Bowl weekend in February. The lounge, located inside Bellagio Resort & Casino, featured live performances by Mars and The Hooligans, his renowned backing band.

The versatile artist’s upcoming performances at the Intuit Dome mark another milestone in his illustrious career, promising audiences a memorable experience filled with timeless glamour and remarkable artistry.

Despite his undeniable talent and popularity, Mars has faced scrutiny in the past, including a controversial comparison made by Nick Cannon last spring. Cannon, on his Daily Cannon radio show, sparked debate by praising Mars’ live performances and expressing a preference for attending a Bruno Mars show over those of Beyoncé or Taylor Swift, drawing mixed reactions from listeners.
