Cardi B Rings in 2024 with Miami Performance and Sneak Peek of Unreleased Track, Parties with Ex Offset

Cardi B kicked off the New Year in style, offering Miami a taste of both her unreleased music and a surprise appearance by her estranged husband, Offset. The rapper took centre stage at Miami Beach’s Fontainebleau on Sunday night (December 31), captivating the audience as part of Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve broadcast.

Following her dynamic performance, Cardi B’s DJ treated the live audience to a sneak peek of an unreleased track. In a fan-captured clip, Cardi passionately raps to the unreleased song, featuring bold lines like, “I said my opps linking up/ I’m like what? Give a fuck,” revealing a glimpse into her latest musical endeavours.

Despite public statements about their breakup, Cardi B and Offset were spotted together at the event, challenging previous speculations. Offset, who was originally scheduled to perform, shared the stage with Cardi, creating buzz about the status of their relationship.

Cardi had hinted at the possibility of new music before the year’s end in a Twitter Space session back in November. She pondered the idea of breaking her silence and treating fans to a surprise release, suggesting a video might be in the works.

In a September interview, while promoting her collaboration with Megan Thee Stallion on “Bongos,” Cardi also addressed her long-awaited sophomore album, assuring fans that it’s on the horizon. She shared her excitement about the upcoming project, mentioning that she has a date and title in mind but prefers to keep them under wraps for now.

Cardi B’s last full album, “Invasion of Privacy,” was released in April 2018, and fans have eagerly awaited her follow-up. With the recent live performance and teaser of new material, it seems Cardi B is gearing up for an exciting and musically rich 2024.
