DJ Cuppy Explains Why She No Longer Goes Clubbing for Fun
Nigerian disc jockey and music personality, Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, has shared why nightclubs no longer hold any appeal for her unless she’s behind the turntables.
In a recent post on X, the 32-year-old revealed that her priorities have shifted with age, noting that she now chooses rest over nightlife unless it’s work-related.
“I had to remind a friend that I’m 32 years old o,” she wrote. “I will absolutely not go clubbing unless I’m getting paid to be there as a DJ. Otherwise, my bedtime is fully booked by 10pm.”
Her statement comes months after she publicly spoke about dedicating her life to God, describing how her spiritual journey has reshaped her ambitions and lifestyle. In August 2024, DJ Cuppy rededicated her life to Christ during a service at Holy Trinity Brompton church in London, a move she says altered her career path “in the best way.”
Known for her energetic performances and high-profile background, DJ Cuppy’s recent remarks reflect a broader shift in focus from social nightlife to personal growth and purpose.
