Faith Evans Reveals What She Loved Most About Her Late Husband, Notorious B.I.G

Faith Evans, the renowned singer, recently shared her thoughts on what she loved most about her late husband, the legendary New York rapper Christopher “The Notorious B.I.G.” Wallace, during an appearance on the Marriage or Mirage podcast. Co-host Charmaine posed the question, “What did you love about Biggie?” Evans seized the opportunity to pay tribute to her late husband and his admirable qualities.

“Everything. I loved everything about him,” she began. “He was honest. You understand? One thing about him, even at that young age… honest! Yo, I respect it. I’m like, I can’t take nothing else.”

The 50-year-old singer went on to share a personal anecdote, recalling a time when she asked Biggie a straightforward question, and he responded truthfully instead of resorting to deception. She emphasized Biggie’s honesty, stating, “Most of the time I didn’t know what was going on, but when I did and I asked him — he told the truth.”

While Faith Evans’ declaration received mixed reactions from fans, with some poking fun at her comments about Biggie’s honesty, others defended her and saw it as a heartfelt way to remember her late husband.

Critics questioned the assertion of Biggie’s honesty, citing past controversies, but supporters praised the acknowledgement of honesty as a valuable trait to remember him by.

Faith Evans and The Notorious B.I.G. had a whirlwind romance, marrying quickly after meeting at a promotional photoshoot for Bad Boy Records in 1994. Despite the unconventional speed of their marriage, they shared a deep connection. Biggie once expressed his happiness about marrying her after just eight days, saying, “That was my baby.”

Tragically, The Notorious B.I.G. passed away in 1997 at the age of 24, leaving behind Faith Evans and their son, CJ Wallace.

Since then, Faith Evans moved on with music producer Stevie J, and their relationship had its share of ups and downs, including public disputes and a contentious divorce battle. However, in July, the ex-couple reportedly settled their differences and finalized their divorce.

According to court documents obtained by RadarOnline, Faith Evans informed the court that they had “entered into a written agreement regarding their property and their marriage or domestic support partnership rights, including support.” Although the specific terms of the agreement have not been disclosed, it is believed to include provisions related to spousal support and attorney fees.

The court filing noted, “There are irreconcilable differences that have led to the irremediable breakdown of the marriage or domestic partnership, and there is no possibility of saving the marriage or domestic partnership through counselling or other means.”
