Justin Bieber Denies Ever Being Groomed by Diddy
Justin Bieber has publicly refuted speculation that he was ever groomed by Sean “Diddy” Combs, distancing himself from the troubling allegations currently surrounding the hip-hop mogul.
The pop star’s statement follows a wave of renewed interest in his past connection to Diddy, sparked by the Bad Boy Records founder’s ongoing legal troubles and a series of resurfaced claims about his behaviour with young artists.
“Although Justin is not among Sean Combs’ victims, there are individuals who were genuinely harmed by him,” the statement reads. “Shifting focus away from this reality detracts from the justice these victims rightfully deserve.”
Rumours regarding Bieber’s interactions with Diddy have circulated for years but gained traction after comments made by former Death Row Records executive Suge Knight. Speaking in a prison interview with former mobster Michael Franzese, Knight alleged that Diddy had groomed Bieber during his teenage years and claimed inappropriate conduct involving other young male artists.
Knight also made unverified claims that Diddy arranged trips for Bieber with older men and accused him of exposing the singer to environments involving drugs and alcohol at a young age. Knight’s comments have not been backed by evidence, and neither Bieber nor Diddy have previously addressed those specific claims in detail.
As of now, Diddy has not responded publicly to the allegations involving Bieber or fellow artist Usher, who was also mentored by him in his youth. He has consistently denied all allegations of sexual misconduct and criminal behavior in other ongoing legal matters.
Bieber’s response underscores a desire to redirect attention toward those who have come forward with legitimate grievances, rather than allow speculation to overshadow ongoing investigations.
