Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake Is Reportedly Coming To Xbox After All
In anticipation of Sony’s upcoming PlayStation Showcase, there have been numerous rumors circulating about potential appearances and announcements.
One company that has garnered significant attention is Konami, especially after recent Silent Hill announcements. However, it appears that one of Konami’s other major properties may not remain exclusive to PlayStation.
Insider Gaming reports that the highly speculated Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater remake will, in fact, be released on Xbox.
According to their sources, the upcoming remake from Konami will be available on Xbox Series X|S and Steam, in addition to PlayStation 5.
While the game is said to be multiplatform, the report indicates that Konami will unveil the project during the PlayStation Showcase on May 24th. The reveal is expected to be a teaser rather than a comprehensive gameplay presentation.
If this report proves accurate, it would be a significant victory for Xbox fans. With Konami’s Silent Hill 2 remake currently announced as a PlayStation exclusive, concerns arose regarding the fate of Metal Gear Solid.
However, it seems increasingly likely that the Metal Gear Solid 3 remake will find its way to Xbox consoles. A sigh of relief for fans indeed!
