Portable Pledges to Stay Out of Trouble After N2 Million Bail

Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has vowed to change his ways following his release on bail.

The controversial artist was granted bail in the sum of N2 million by an Ogun State Magistrate Court in Isabo, Abeokuta, on Thursday. He had been arraigned by the state police for allegedly assaulting three officials from the Ogun Planning and Development Permit Authority (OGPDPA).

Portable pleaded not guilty to a five-count charge, including conspiracy, assault, possession of weapons, and unruly conduct, leading to his conditional release.

In a video shared on social media after securing bail, the Zazu crooner expressed gratitude and stated that he would now focus on making money rather than engaging in trouble.

“Thank God for everything. If you have God, you have everything. I need money. I’m not looking for trouble anymore, I’m focused on making money,” he said, adding that he was still seeking funds to fulfil his bail conditions.
