Portable Secures 10-Year Canada Work Permit, Celebrates International Opportunities
Controversial Nigerian artist Habeeb Okikiola, widely known as Portable, has announced that he has been granted a 10-year work permit for Canada. The singer shared the news with his fans in a video posted on his Instagram page.
In the video, Portable proudly displayed his newly acquired visa, expressing his excitement about the opportunity to perform internationally. “Alhamdulilahi CEO DR ZEHNATION Going to Canada. Going and coming 10 years working permit,” the singer exclaimed, highlighting his enthusiasm for the new chapter in his career.
This achievement marks a significant milestone for Portable, who had previously disclosed during a 2022 interview on Echo Room that he had been denied a U.S. visa five times due to concerns about his presentation. With this new Canadian work permit, Portable is set to expand his presence on the global stage, bringing his unique sound to audiences abroad.
