German champions, FC Bayern Munich aren’t backing off in their relentless pursuit of Senegalese and Liverpool forward, Sadio Mane in a bid to bolster their attacking lineup heading into the 2022/2023 football season.
According to Florian Plettenberg of Sky Sport’s, Mane might as well begin to picture himself in the colours of Bayern Munich next season. He even went ahead to reveal that there have been a level of progression in the conversation between the the German club and Mane’s representatives.
Since 2016 when he joined Liverpool from Southampton, the energetic winger has been a prominent part of Jurgen Klopp’s ferocious attacking line-up and has tons of goals and trophies to show for it.
Across all competitions so far, he has scored a total of 120 goals for Liverpool with 48 assists across 268 appearances for the reds.
The importance of Bayern’s pursuit of Mane is underscore in the impending loss of the club’s ace striker, Robert Lewandowski to Barcelona as the striker has since made it clear that he will not be renewing his contract with the club.
