American singer and actress Selena Gomez has shared details about her past romantic crushes before her recent engagement to music producer Benny Blanco. In a candid interview with W Magazine, Gomez revealed that she had numerous crushes growing up, including on celebrities like Jesse McCartney and Chad Michael Murray.
Recalling her admiration for McCartney, Gomez said her infatuation began after hearing his hit song, Beautiful Soul. She also mentioned her fondness for Murray, known for his role in One Tree Hill.
“I loved Chad Michael Murray. But honestly, I had more crushes on people in real life than on actors or musicians,” Gomez shared.
The singer-actress, now 32, also reflected on her first on-screen kiss, which took place on the set of The Suite Life of Zack & Cody. At the time, she guest-starred alongside the show’s lead actors, Dylan and Cole Sprouse.
“It was with Dylan, and it was hilarious because we were both so young. Neither of us had kissed anyone before, and we were so nervous trying to figure it out,” she recounted.
