Liverpool recently released a footage of one of their latest additions to the team, Darwin Nunez where he can be seen interacting with various individuals with the club’s AXA Training Centre. Watch the clip below.
It should be recalled that Liverpool had secured the services of the Uruguayan forward for an initial £64 million on a 6-year deal.
With this Nunez potentially became Liverpool’s record signing with additional fees expected to rise towards the £85 million mark.
The prolific forward scored 34 times in 41 appearances for Benfica in the 2021-2022 season.
Speaking at his unveiling, Nunez made it clear why he chose Liverpool over other suitors.
“I’m really happy and delighted to be here at Liverpool. It’s a massive club… I want to win a lot of trophies at Liverpool.
“I’ve played against Liverpool and I’ve seen them in lots of games in the Champions League – and it’s my style of play. There are some great players here and I think it’s going to suit my style of play here,” he enthused.
