Wizkid Becomes Africa’s Top Spotify Earner
Nigerian superstar Ayodeji Balogun, widely known as Wizkid, has been recognized as the highest-earning African artist on Spotify, according to a recent report by music analytics platform Chart Masters.
The platform revealed its latest rankings of global artists’ monthly earnings on Spotify, with Wizkid leading the African contingent by earning a staggering $1 million.
The list of Africa’s top ten Spotify earners is heavily dominated by Nigerian artists, with South African singer Tyla as the only exception.
