Wyclef Jean Confirms Fugees Reunion Tour Set to Resume Later This Year

Wyclef Jean has announced that the iconic hip-hop group, the Fugees, will be hitting the road again before the year concludes, despite apparent challenges.

In an interview with AllHipHop on Saturday, Wyclef reassured fans of the group’s return to the stage, emphasizing that those who missed out last year would have another chance to catch the Fugees live in concert.

“If you missed the Fugees last year, catch the Fugees this year,” Wyclef declared during the conversation.

Beyond the reunion tour, Wyclef hinted at other upcoming projects, including a Netflix movie titled “Prince of Port au Prince,” based on his childhood experiences. Additionally, he teased collaborative music efforts with Lil Wayne, promising a year filled with exciting ventures for fans.

Wyclef’s announcement comes amidst previous statements from fellow Fugees members. Pras Michel’s publicist confirmed his participation in the reunion tour back in September, dispelling rumors of surprise involvement. Meanwhile, Lauryn Hill, who postponed some tour dates in November due to health concerns, assured fans of rescheduled shows in early 2024, with plans to add new cities to the tour itinerary.

With the Fugees members aligning their schedules and commitments, anticipation is high for their highly anticipated return to the stage, offering fans the chance to experience their timeless music once again.
