Ayra Starr Set to Headline CANEX WKND Concert in Algeria

Nigerian music sensation Ayra Starr is slated to perform at the 2024 Creative Africa Nexus Weekend (CANEX WKND) concert, alongside renowned South African DJ Maphorisa. The event, which highlights Africa’s thriving creative and cultural industries, will take place from October 16 to 19, 2024, in Algiers, Algeria.

The CANEX WKND concert will feature performances from an impressive lineup of African artists, including Kenya’s Sofiya Nzau, Tuareg music group Tinariwen from southern Algeria, and South Africa’s Kabza De Small.

Ayra Starr rose to international prominence with her 2021 hit single “Bloody Samaritan,” solidifying her status as a key figure in Africa’s growing music scene. The CANEX WKND promises to be a dynamic showcase of the continent’s creative talents.
