Drake Announces Break From Music to Focus on His Health

Multi-Grammy-winning Canadian rapper and singer, Drake, has revealed that he will be taking a significant break from the music scene. The announcement came during his SiriusXM radio show, Table For One, just hours after the release of his latest album, ‘For All The Dogs.’

The 36-year-old artist expressed his intention to step away from music for a period of at least a year or possibly more. This decision, he emphasized, is driven by the need to prioritize his health, citing longstanding stomach issues that have affected him for years.

In his own words, Drake shared, “I probably won’t make music for a little bit, I’m gonna be honest. I need to focus on my health, first and foremost… Nothing crazy, but just like, you know, I want people to be healthy in life, and I’ve been having the craziest problems for years with my stomach.”

He went on to mention his intention to temporarily “lock the door on the studio” for an unspecified duration, stating, “I don’t even know what a little bit is. Maybe a year or something. Maybe a little longer.”

Drake’s decision to prioritize his health reflects a growing trend of artists in the entertainment industry acknowledging the importance of well-being and self-care. Fans will undoubtedly support his decision to take the time he needs to address his health concerns.
