Former NFL Player Kevin Ware Indicted in Ex-Girlfriend’s Murder
These are certainly not the best of times for former NFL player, Kevin Ware as he has been indicted in the murder of his ex-girlfriend, Taylor Pomaski.
Ware has not played in the NFL since 2004 and has been charged with tampering with evidence, specifically a corpse in this case.
It would be recalled that his ex-girlfriend was found dead in Texas back in 2021.
“Prosecutors presented the evidence to a Harris County grand jury, which determined there was sufficient evidence for criminal charges,” Harris County district attorney Kim Ogg said.
He added that the law would follow the evidence wherever it leads and apply the law equally to all.
Pomaski was last seen alive at a party at her home in Texas in April 2021 before she went missing for as long as seven months.
Authorities suspected foul play in her disappearance from the beginning, and Ware was identified as a suspect by prosecutors as far back as June 2021.
Her remains were eventually found in December of that same year in Harris County. She was 29 years old.
Ware is currently facing a minimum sentence of 15 years in prison, but could be handed a life sentence.
