Kanye West Announces Controversial New Album WW3, Confirms Split from Bianca Censori

Kanye West has announced the imminent release of a new album titled WW3, while also confirming his separation from his wife, Bianca Censori. The surprise announcement, made via social media on Wednesday, follows closely on the heels of Bully, his 11th solo project which he recently leaked himself.

According to hip-hop commentator DJ Akademiks, WW3 is expected to drop on Thursday, April 3. West posted a handwritten tracklist on X (formerly Twitter), alongside controversial imagery and song titles that have already sparked online backlash. Among the tracks listed are “Heil Hitler,” “Virgil Let Me Down,” “Free Diddy,” “Cosby,” and “Hitler Ye and Jesus”—names that are expected to further fuel criticism over the artist’s provocative approach.

Rising rapper Dave Blunts, who gained viral attention for his openly discussed health struggles and his codeine-themed single “The Cup,” is the album’s sole featured artist. West recently praised Blunts, calling him his “favorite rapper” and likening his lyrics to the energy of his own tweets.

The 11-track album also includes a deeply personal record titled “Bianca,” in which West opens up about his split from Censori. On the track, he pleads for her to return and references her concerns over his online behavior.

“She’s having a panic attack and she is not liking the way that I tweeted / Until Bianca’s back, I stay up all night, I’m not going to sleep,” he raps.

The song also includes claims that Censori attempted to have him hospitalized, and features lyrics that suggest he has been tracking her movements through a phone app.

“I really don’t know where she’s at / I’m tracking my [expletive] through an app / I’m tracking my [expletive] through the city / I guess we the new Cassie and Diddy,” he says.

Rumors of a split between West and Censori have circulated for months, though in February, their spokesperson Milo Yiannopoulos dismissed reports of a divorce as “wrong.”

It remains unclear whether WW3 will be released on major streaming platforms or distributed exclusively via West’s website. Given his history of missed release dates, fans are also uncertain whether the album will arrive as promised.

In a livestream with Akademiks on Wednesday, West also revisited his complicated relationship with Drake. He revealed that he had sent a song from Bully titled “Preacher Man” to the Canadian rapper.

“Drake said something like, ‘Oh man, I don’t mean to spoil your dreams,’” West said, hinting at a potential collaboration in the future. “I think before it’s all said and done, we’ll do an album.”

Whether WW3 makes its scheduled drop or sparks more controversy than music remains to be seen, but Kanye West has once again put himself—and his art—at the center of public attention.
