Kanye West Releases Album With Diddy’s Son
American rapper and producer Kanye West has released a surprise joint album with King Combs, the son of embattled music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs. Titled Never Stop, the project was released without prior announcement and is now available on all major streaming platforms.
The album, which Kanye West executive produced, opens with a track featuring his daughter North West, continuing his recent trend of including his children in his musical work. One of the standout tracks, titled “Diddy Free,” features a repeated chant calling for the release of Diddy, who is currently facing a series of high-profile legal issues including allegations of sexual assault and sex trafficking.
While Diddy has not publicly commented on the release, rumours of a collaboration between West and King Combs have circulated for months.
West has remained one of Diddy’s most outspoken defenders since the allegations first emerged in 2023. In a controversial series of social media posts, West criticized former collaborators and others who testified against Diddy, including Kid Cudi, who alleged that Diddy broke into his home and damaged property. West expressed disappointment over Cudi’s involvement in the case, writing on X (formerly Twitter): “I wish Cudi hadn’t testified against Puff… Praying for Puff and his family.”
West also made headlines earlier this year for controversial remarks suggesting that Diddy’s actions toward his former partner Cassie – captured in leaked hotel footage – were acts of “true love,” further intensifying public backlash. He later promoted and sold hoodies resembling the one Cassie wore in the surveillance video, boasting over $30,000 in sales, a move widely condemned online.
The release of Never Stop is expected to reignite debate around West’s continued support for Diddy and his provocative stance on sensitive issues. As of press time, King Combs has not issued a public statement regarding the album’s themes or its reception.
