Nigerian singer and dancer Korra Obidi has claimed she was almost removed from a flight over what was deemed inappropriate attire.
The US-based entertainer shared the experience on her social media over the weekend, revealing that airline staff approached her and requested that she cover up or face removal from the flight. At the time, Obidi was wearing a pink outfit that exposed parts of her body, consistent with her well-known bold fashion style.
Posting a photo of the outfit on Facebook, the mother of two sought her followers’ opinions, writing: “I was almost kicked off the plane for this outfit. Be honest, was this airline doing the most?”
Her post sparked mixed reactions. While some fans defended her right to self-expression, many criticised the outfit as inappropriate, especially for a flight setting.
