SZA Swears Off Romantic Relationships, Calls Them a “Disease”
American singer Solána Imani Rowe, better known as SZA, has made a bold declaration about her future love life, stating that she will never engage in a romantic relationship again.
The R&B artist shared her thoughts on romance via her official X (formerly Twitter) account on Thursday, describing romantic relationships as a “disease.”
“I never wanna be romantically interested in a human being ever again in my entire life. That sh*t is a disease,” SZA wrote in the candid post.
SZA has been the subject of past rumors involving her love life, including alleged relationships with rapper Travis Scott and fellow artist Kehlani. While Kehlani later confirmed her sexuality, coming out as a lesbian, SZA has remained private about her own romantic interests.
In a rare admission, SZA revealed in a 2020 tweet that she and rapper Drake briefly dated in 2009. Despite the occasional speculation surrounding her love life, SZA’s recent statement makes it clear that she has no intention of pursuing any future romantic relationships.
